Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Lucy and I am a freelance illustrator. I currently live and work in Gloucestershire with a naughty dog and several cats, who supply endless amounts of inspiration! I studied Illustration at University College Falmouth and graduated with a BA (Hons) in 2009.
I hand paint my illustrations in gouache using bright, clean colours. I enjoy experimenting with detail, characters and narrative in my illustrations. I am passionate about children’s illustration and have a huge (and still growing!) collection of picture books.
In 2009 I became part of an illustration collective called GradGallery. The collective was formed by a group of Falmouth graduates. As a group, we organise exhibitions around the country to promote illustration and to get our work seen by a wider audience.
I am currently represented by the lovely folks at Plum Pudding Illustration, who are based in London.
